Artful Crafting Challenge 12: Happy Mother's Day

Hey lovely people!
We are here with a new challenge for Artful Crafting and guess what!! We have a Mood Board this time :) Hop on to Artful Crafting's blog to link up your projects and to read about the rest of the DT's projects.

Prima's Tales of You & Me was just the perfect collection to go with this mood board. Keeping the mood board in mind, I created this layout, about 8x8 inches in size. :) 

The Paper is Tales of You and Me by Prima along with the blooms by Wild Orchid Crafts and Artful Crafting. Since I used the paper that had more purple in it, I switched to purple blooms and some magenta ink for the background. 

I took a vintage photo from a random paper I had (it is of a grown up woman- to go with the mother's day theme) I also stamped "Happy Mother's Day" with a Simon Says Stamp Dye Ink and Simon Says Stamp "Mother's Day" Stamp Set. 

I have also used the "netting background" stamp by woodware on the background to merge in the layout with the background paper. Finally finished with some silver microbeads and white gesso.
