Almost Spring

Hey there everyone!
We are back with a new challenge at Artful Crafting which is "Flowers" :) Please hop on to Artful Crafting blog to read the details and linking your projects.

March is supposed to show signs of spring, although I still see 10 inches of snow outside, I know it is coming. We have longer days, the sun stays for a bit and my plants are doing better than before :)

I have created a card using the very unconventional colors for blooms- greens.

The background paper is from Prima Markeing- Epiphany Collection and I built on the background print by distressing the paper as well as stamping around the border using Vintage Photo and Black Soot Distress Ink Pads. I have used a mix of Prima blooms (from various collections) as well as Petaloo ones. The black gear which says "Charming" is from Prima- Resin Icons in a Box and I have used a few of their new metal embellishments as well. Also, under the sentiment label is the Cork sticker from the same Epiphany collection.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp- Make a Home and I cut the label using Simon Says Stamp Sketchy Banners Wafer Thin Die.

The most interesting part was when I discovered that I could use my Memory Box Fairy tale Flower Frame die for vines as well. LOL! I always skipped using my wreath dies thinking I'd have to make another "wreath card" but this time, I cut the entire wreath in four and used it as vines to add length to the layout! SO HAPPY :D

I am also entering it in the Memory Nest: Make it Monday, No: 55 challenge, following this layout:

I hope you all liked the card!
Until next time :)
