Lavender Diaries

Hi everyone!
Cant believe craftykickstart16 is going to end real soon! I am getting excited now :)
Anyway, I have a card to share with all of you today.

It has been a while since I have actually focused on cards. This time, I just pushed myself to create one. Being still in the mixed media infatuation (which is turning into a passion now I guess), I created this card. :)

I started off with stenciling the lowest layer of the card. You can experiment with all sorts of pearl powders/mica powders and mix them in the texture paste to create shimmery textured surface.

I added lots of flowers in lilac and gold and finished off with some micro beads. :)

The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp. The background paper (under the stenciling) is from Epiphany- Prima Marketing. :)
Hope you all liked it!

Do not forget to subscribe to all the five blogs and comment if you still want to be a part of the #craftykickstart16 giveaway. Read all about it in the link above if you want to know more about it!

Until Next time! :)

  2. Loving the colors. I am wondering what are the possible ways to use mica powder?? Since you are on a mixed media journey, you should definitely do a blogpost on that someday.
