Artful Crafting Challenge 7: Heat Embossing!

Hi everyone! Im here with challenge 7 inspiration post for Artful Crafting. The challenge this time is everyone's favorite Heat embossing. :)

Read about the challenge and participate here

This is what i had gotten in my kit this time :)
I got Ranger Inkssentials Emboss it pens
and embossing powders. (buy the awesome heat embossing range on AC's website here)

There a gazillion things you can do when it comes to heat embossing really. Especially powders and those awesome pens. I mostly use the pens to fill in embossing powder in only some parts of the (stamped or otherwise) image and HANDWRITE!! imagine how cool it is to personalise the text!! The black pen in this kit is very handy!

So in my card today I cut out layers with three different Spellbinders dies. I distressed them with their coordinating colors. The seocnd one (brown) had interesting floral pattern than I needed to stand out a little more. So I just used the white pen and used it over the places I wanted to and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I used double colored stamping for the text on the top most layer. First, just stamp the image using Versamark, carefully stamp the sides of the text (it is okay if there is loose powder on the rest of the stamped image, it just makes the blending better) and then the middle part with a different color. Infact, if you have a bigger text, you guys should definitely try this out using three or four colors. :) Try and let me know!

Dont mind the ugly photos, we hardly have sun nowadays. Here are a few more examples:

The top writing is embossed in black and blue white the lower one in blue and silver!

Hope this was helpful for all of you. Do not forget to participate! I am sure all of you are familiar with heat embossing so I am looking forward to A LOT of posts from you guys :D
I do plan to make another post  in which I can use  the embossing Pens in detail.

until next time!
