Hi there everyone! I have another Altered Art Project to share with you guys. Im putting this one up for
Lia Stampz Challenge.
I have been pretty pretty lazy, days are getting shorter and colder. Anyway, on my way back from Dubai last year, I got some packed dates that were arranged on a tray. Now I forgot to take a pic of that empty tray for you guys, but it looked pretty much like a shoe stand. :-)
There were wooden rods in the container, I took out a few to create wider columns. Then arranged some of them horizontally to create boxes. I covered one side of that tray with chipboard and put different paper on each box to create something like a printer's tray.
Putting paper from under the rods was a little tricky but i did it :D
Next step: DECORATE! :D
This is what I did. I thought this should be the other way around and not how Im holding it in the above picture. I left two spaces for photos. I shall place appropriate photos and show you guys.

The dotted two boxes are where I plan to put pictures. :) |
Here are a few more pictures for you all to enjoy! Leave your comments on how did you find the project! :) Dont forget to click on the pictures and view them big! xx

ReplyDeletethank you :))
DeleteWow! That looks like it was a lot of work but worth it. Your project is gorgeous and I'd like to thank you for sharing it with us at Lia Stampz!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marianne. Yes, it was a lot of work but I enjoyed every bit of it. Most of the paper etc was out of my scraps or the stuff I don't use. I am only being lazy in finding an appropriate picture to fit in that "fly away" and "dream big" theme. :)
DeleteOmg love this. So you put those sticks to good use :-) and that doll is a childhood memory :-)
ReplyDeleteyes :D I dont know where did the guy with the hat that we used to hang with this doll go :(
